Day 1 - Whitehorse Arrival - Thursday, June 19, 2025

After your Air North flight from Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver you will be transferred to the Gold Rush Inn.

Depending on your time of arrival you may have time to explore the historical main street of Whitehorse and the visitor centre for a modern day look at the territory. There may also be time to check out the MacBride Museum conveniently located close to your hotel. Later afternoon we will have a welcome reception at the hotel.

Day 2 - Friday, June 20 - Visit Alaska

Today you will have an early start for a uniquely historic tour south to the port of Skagway, Alaska. We will depart our hotel and travel southbound to the northern corner of British Columbia to Fraser. Here you will board the White Pass train and take the stunning White Pass railway into Skagway, Alaska.  Known as "the scenic railway of the world" it was built in 1898 during the Klondike gold rush. You'll experience breathtaking views while the train chugs along the narrow gauge railway - deemed an International Historical Civil Engineering Landmark. All aboard!

You will arrive in Skagway early afternoon where you'll have a two hour layover.  Long enough to shop, have lunch or just stroll around the unique and historic downtown.  Modern day Skagway is an ocean cruise port and boasts a busy main street.  You will return to Whitehorse, arriving by the early evening via motor coach.

On the return you will visit Carcross, Yukon - Home of the world's smallest desert which boasts a healthy population of over 70 species of plants. In Carcross you'll also find the Matthew Watson General Store, the oldest operating store in Yukon.

Day 3 - Saturday, June 21 - Midnight Sun


Today you will check-out of your hotel in Whitehorse and board a private Air North Charter Flight to Dawson City -  the Heart of the Klondike Gold Rush. There's plenty to do in Dawson City and with the Midnight Sun you'll have lots of time to get as much as you can in. Some attractions include: gold panning, taking a stroll down the historic downtown streets, visiting one of the many museums or cultural centres, stopping by the Jack London interpretive centre, trying your luck and watching a show at the Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall and of course downing a famous Sour Toe Cocktail, at the Downtown Hotel. This will surely be a day to remember.

At the Dawson City Airport you will board a motor coach for a morning tour to the Tomb Stone Mountain Range. The tour will return to Dawson City and you will check in at your hotel. It is the Midnight Sun Season you have plenty of daylight to get acquainted with Dawson City. Explore the town on a walking tour. Enjoy supper on your own and perhaps the Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall. Before midnight we will tour up to the Midnight Dome overlooking Dawson City and celebrate the solstice sunset.

Day 4 - Sunday, June 22 - The Klondike


Today you explore more of Dawson city. Perhaps, visit Dredge #4 and spend some time listening to the readings of Robert Service. Visit Parks Canada and the Visitor Centre. There is lots to explore in Dawson City on your own. At 3:30 p.m. we will board our bus back to Dawson City Airport for a 4:30 pm charter flight departure to Whitehorse.

Day 5 - Monday, June 23 - Homeward Bound or Optional Add On Day in Whitehorse

Core group: In the morning, you will check-out of the hotel and depart for the airport for the flight home.

Optional add on day guests: Free day to explore Whitehorse on your own.

Day 6 Optional Day - Tuesday, June 24 - Homeward Bound

In the morning, you will check-out of the hotel and depart for the airport for the flight home.
